The DS MATRIX LED VISION projectors are made up of three LED modules for dipped beam as well as a MATRIX BEAM module for driving. This is composed of 15 identical but independent parts that light up and dim progressively depending on road conditions.

Three types of drivetrain are available for DS 3 CROSSBACK: PureTech petrol, BlueHDi diesel and E-Tense 100% electric.
Adapt your driving
DS 3 CROSSBACK is available with an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual gearbox depending on the drivetrain. A selector on the centre console enables the driver to adapt the vehicle to their driving needs and expectations. There are up to seven types of driving and traction modes, depending on the options specified. Driving modes include Manual, Sport, Normal and Eco. Traction modes are Sand, Mud and Snow.
PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY & START
1m 50: that’s how far away DS 3 CROSSBACK can detect you from. As you approach, thanks to PROXIMITY KEYLESS ENTRY & START, the car automatically unlocks itself and the door handles, invisible until now, appear. You simply open the door to get behind the wheel.
On leaving the car it’s a similar principle: the door handles retract and the car automatically locks itself.
Enjoy even greater comfort thanks to hands-free starting. At the wheel of your DS 3 CROSSBACK, all you do is push the Start/Stop button on the centre console to start or stop the engine.
DS SMART ACCESS
A real everyday assistant, DS SMART ACCESS lets you start your DS 3 CROSSBACK using the MyDS app. Plan ahead to give and withdraw permission for entry to the interior or boot, and enable as many as five of those closest to you to use the vehicle as and when you like.
DS DRIVE ASSIST
Tackle long journeys with complete confidence thanks to our cutting-edge DS DRIVE ASSIST technology. This innovative system, active up to 180km/h, positions your car perfectly in its lane and maintains/adjusts your speed depending on the vehicle in front.
When the traffic slows, this technology can also manage your car’s stopping and restarting process.
DS PARK PILOT
Thanks to DS PARK PILOT, your car will park itself without any input from you on the steering wheel or pedals.
To park, you just have to do one thing: keep the button pressed and wait for the magic to happen. Our system finds a parking space that matches the size of DS 3 CROSSBACK simply by passing in front of it at up to 30km/h. It then carries out the manoeuvre either parallel to the kerb or in an angled parking bay.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY
Speed, cruise control/speed limiter information, sign posts, driver aids and navigation: during your journey Head-Up Display lets you access all necessary data without taking your eyes off the road.
Taken from fighter planes, this technology projects all the essential data in colour onto a transparent strip that’s in your field of vision.
DS MATRIX LED VISION
Thanks to its latest generation DS MATRIX LED VISION headlamps, you can drive at night with lights on main beam without ever dazzling other drivers. To maintain the best possible light at all times, these intelligent projectors automatically adapt their light beam depending on the traffic conditions detected by the camera at the top of the windscreen.

ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE
To guarantee your safety and that of those around you, we’ve equipped your car with the ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE emergency braking system. Thanks to a sensor and a latest generation camera at the top of the windscreen, this system detects obstacles* in your way, day or night.
In case of immediate danger, you are alerted by visual and audible warnings; if you still don’t react, automatic braking acts.
* Detectable objects are vehicles (driving in the same direction or stopped), pedestrians, cyclists and motorbikes on the road.
SPEED LIMIT TECHNOLOGY
Make driving easier with Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation technology. This system reads permanent and temporary speed limit signs then reproduces them in your display, immediately alerting you if you exceed the limit. You can also change the setting of the cruise control/speed limiter to adapt your speed to the prescribed limit.
This system is a driver aid that is, under no circumstances, a substitute for driver awareness or obeying the rules of the road.
DS LOUNGE
Working with French company FOCAL, a long-time partner, our engineers and technicians have developed this outstanding sound system with 12 speakers and a 515-Watt amplifier. The speakers are perfectly positioned around the cockpit to provide you with an incredibly immersive sound.
